Privacy policy
What we collect
- Account details you provide: email address, name, username, optional bio and profile picture. Passwords are stored only as salted scrypt hashes.
- Content you create: titles in your library, ratings, reviews, private notes, watchlist, lists, comments, recommendations, watch links and direct messages.
- Social connections: who you follow, who follows you and pending follow requests.
- Device push tokens, if you allow notifications, so we can deliver alerts you enabled.
How we use it
- To run the service: show your library, power your feed, deliver messages and notifications, and compute community rankings from aggregated ratings.
- Private notes are visible only to you. If your account is private, your library, lists and connections are visible only to followers you approve.
- We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Third-party services
- Movie and series information comes from TMDB and, optionally, OMDb. We request catalog data from them without sending your personal data.
- Push notifications are delivered through the Expo push service, which receives your device token and the notification text.
- If you sign in with Google, Google shares your verified email address and name with us.
- Password reset emails are sent through our email provider.
Deleting your data
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. Deletion is immediate and removes your profile, library, lists, messages, comments and every other record linked to your account.
